Debate tournament 2018
On 20th October, Gimnazija Vič welcomed teams from across Slovenia for the opening stage of this year’s debating tournament.
44 teams arrived to take part in a number of debates connected to feminism and its role in society today.
Our school put forward four teams, all of which did well through the day.
Special mention must go to the delegation from Gimnazija Bežigrad who were named as overall winners for this stage of the competition and the one from Druga Gimnazija Maribor who were the runners-up.
Everyone involved in this project is very much looking forward to the next stage of the tournament which will be held in Maribor later in the year.
