KARPO GODINA |
(Skopje, 26.6.1943), film director, cameraman, montage editor.
He studied film direction at AGRFT in Ljubljana (1962-66), where he has been
lecturing film direction since 1990. He started his career at the begining of the 60s with
amateur films and internationally successful short and documentary films. As a
director of photography he participated in more than 20 films, he directed TV
series and short films. Since 1973 he has participated in realization of more than 200
propaganda and advertising films.
For his full-length films he received the award of Yugoslav critics (1980, 1983),
Badjura's award (1980, 1982), the award of the royal film archive of Belgium (The raft of medusa, 1980)
and the award of the French film meda (Red boogie, Strassburg 1984).
