Exam results 2025

Before students can enjoy the long summer break, there are exams to be taken at both school and national level in Gimnazija Vič.

Our first three year groups have the final tests in all their subjects within our own school while those in the final year have to sit the Matura exams, the state exams for those leaving secondary schools.

These exams are important for securing places at university so doing well here provides a strong foundation as they continue to the next stage of their academic journey.

On 14th July, our fourth-year students were welcomed back to school for one last time to be presented with their Matura certificates. On a day of praise and congratulations, it was also a chance for these students to thank their teachers for all the help given over their time with us and to make sure that they keep in touch with their classmates as they move on to different universities and colleges in Slovenia and beyond.

A special mention must go to those who received the Gold Matura Prize which is given to those who receive the best grades across all of the country. 48 of our students achieved this from a total of 337 in Slovenia.

Additional congratulations have to go to the 5 students from the 27 in Slovenia who were awarded the Diamond Matura Prize by getting the top marks in the country in their exams.

Well done to everyone and we wish you well as you go off into the world to continue your studies at university.
