Erasmus+ school visit: Germany 2026

During the third week of October, we were delighted to host Mr Peter Kowatschew, a teacher of Physical Education and Economics from Anne-Frank-Realschule plus Mainz school in Germany.

Over several days, a full programme was arranged to allow him to find out more about our general school system in Slovenia as well as how particular classes and projects are covered in Gimnazija Vič.

One of the highlights was a presentation from our school’s promotions group. They arranged a round table discussion which highlighted particular elements of our school structure as well as giving plenty of opportunities for discussion about healthy habits in school, extra-curricular activities, and the role of the school within the wider community.

We always enjoy getting the chance to deal with these international guests and we would like to thank Mr Kowatschew for joining in with our discussion and wish him all the best for the rest of his time in Slovenia.
